Went solo hunting for the first time

Last season I went solo hunting for the first time. I’d always hunted with my dad or friends before. Hunting alone was completely different, it was quieter, more focused but also kinda lonely. I had to make all the decisions on my own. Do you prefer hunting solo or with others?

I like both. Hunting alone helps me focus and be self-sufficient. Going with friends makes memories. I go back and forth depending on how I feel.

Solo feels like responsibility turned up but also the purest way to hear the woods without chatter.

Solo hunting changes your relationship with the whole experience. Everything gets quieter and slower and more deliberate. I miss the company sometimes but the focus you get alone is genuinely different.
