I want to fish for walleye. People say Devils Lake is good. But I was wondering what other nice lakes you know. Also, what bait or trick do you use for the walleye?

Devils Lake is great, no doubt, but Sakakawea is my favorite.

Big water, big fish. I usually troll crankbaits along drop-offs early in the season, then switch to jigging with minnows once it warms up.

If you've never tried night fishing with slip bobbers, give that a go too. Walleye love low light.

Lake Oahe in South Dakota is great for walleye. Troll with crawler harnesses in 20–30 feet of water near points.

Night fishing with LED bobbers and leeches catches bigger fish in summer.
