I bought 5,000 rounds of .40 S&W right before I sold my only .40 caliber gun. it seemed smart at the time cause prices were rising. Now I've got a closet full of ammo for a gun I don't own. I can't even give it away because nobody shoots .40 anymore
I stocked up on some weird ammo calibers, thinking they'd be worth something one day. Now they just sit there, reminding me that it's better to be flexible than to try and guess the future.
