Why I own three guns that do essentially the same thing

They’ve got different triggers, different sight radiuses and different grip angles. But what looks like redundancy to someone on the outside is actually a deliberate setup for someone who shoots regularly. When people ask, I’m not overexplaining, it’s just not something you can sum up in two sentences.

Same job, sure but different flavors. Anyone who shoots enough knows “basically the same” is doing a lot of work.

Looks redundant until you shoot them then it’s preference, not duplication. Subtle differences matter more than people think.

 It just makes sense to me to stick with the same platform, even if they're for different purposes. I've got one for everyday carry, another set up for competition, and then one always ready by the nightstand.
