I'll look into Winchester PDX1 for defense and use a modified choke for clays. I am definitely adding a weapon light and side-saddleThat's a cool shotgun. I have used those and the low recoil is a huge plus. For home defense, you have to use the right ammo like Winchester PDX1 and for clays, a modified or full choke is a must. I would add a weapon light and a side saddle for sure
I get the concern, I chose .410 for low recoil and handling, but I’ll research 12- and 20-gauge options for defenseHold up, I'd be concerned about using .410 for home defense. It's got significantly less stopping power than 12 or 20 gauge. Most experts recommend larger gauges for defensive situations since .410 buckshot has fewer pellets and less effective range....you have to really consider upgrading to 12 gauge for home defense purposes
