How often do you clean?

I clean based on round count and use, not some arbitrary rule. My carry guns get attention and range toys go longer. If it’s still running fine, I’m not tearing it apart just to feel productive.

Exactly, let the gun tell you when it needs love. Over-cleaning wastes time and parts, round count is the real measure.

That’s a practical approach, use-based maintenance keeps carry pieces ready without over-servicing everything else

I remember going through my carry gun after a few weeks of daily use, realizing it still ran smooth and just doing a quick wipe instead of the full teardown I thought I’d need.

That’s a good sign your maintenance routine is dialed in. Once you trust it’s staying clean and reliable, you can keep it simple instead of overdoing full breakdowns every time.

Same approach here. I clean based on use and conditions not a calendar. If it’s running reliably and accuracy hasn’t shifted, I’d rather leave it alone than fix what isn’t broken.
