My neighbor thought the generator was overkill

My neighbor thought my backup generator was overkill until one time the grid went down for a few days during winter. He had dinner at my house twice that week..there was no "I told you so" needed

Had that happen myself, what felt excessive became the highlight of the week when the grid went down.

After an ice storm hit here, my Honda generator became the de facto meeting place for the whole neighborhood and nobody thought having it was overkill anymore.
