Walked past my own decoy

I forgot I'd left it set up, I came back later and nearly had a heart attack. It looked super realistic in low light

Yikes! That’s when you realize your decoy’s better at scaring humans than deer.

I had that happen with a turkey decoy once. It was foggy, early in the morning and I forgot where I put it. My heart jumped into my mouth for a sec till my brain caught up.

That’s a funny one. Low light and realistic decoys can really trick your brain for a second.
