What's your pick between factory ammo and handloads?

Do you guys stick with factory ammo for reliability, or do you trust your own handloads more? I know both have pros and cons, but what do you personally feel more confident running at the range or in the field?

I'm more confident with my handloads at the range since I can tweak them for my specific gun. But when I'm hunting or carrying, I stick with factory stuff , I just don't want to second-guess myself when it matters most, you know?

I split the difference, handloads for the range so I can tune for accuracy, but factory for hunting or carry. When it's serious, I want something proven and worry-free
