I found out that you don't need to clean your guns as often as you think, just make sure they're oiled right. You can actually clean a barrel too much

I always tell people to start saving ears right away, my ears are always ringing now because I didn't care about hearing protection when I should

Yeah just keep things lubed and do basic upkeep and you won't need to scrub so much.

New shooters really should treat good ear pro as essential gear from day one to avoid lifelong ringing.
