I'm preparing to apply for a North Dakota Class 1 concealed weapons license and looking for guidance from those who've recently completed the process. I understand there's a training requirement and background check involved. What was your experience with the application timeline and are there any common issues or details applicants should know before starting?

I went through the North Dakota Class 1 process few years back. The training is straightforward but make sure your instructor is certified for Class 1, not just Class 2. After the class, you’ll take the written and shooting test, both are pretty practical. The background check and processing usually take about six to eight weeks, depending on how busy they are.
